Burgan Owners Named Presidents for Respective Organizations

Burgan Real Estate’s Patrick Burgan and Sue Filipovich have been named presidents of the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors and United Way Women United, respectively. As president of Women United, Sue Filipovich will serve through 2020 and help spearhead the “Success After 6” program in Youngstown City Schools. The organization’s mission is to empower women to make a difference in the lives of other women, children, and families. They do so with a focus on early education. As a result of Women United’s efforts and the “Success After 6” program, students have shown improved attendance rates, test scores, and behavior.

 

Patrick Burgan was named president of the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors in January, making him the youngest to ever serve in the roll at age 33. He follows in the footsteps on his father, John Burgan, who served in 1981, and Burgan co-owner Sue Filipovich, who served the position in 2016. As part of his role in the organization, he is tasked with selecting an organization to benefit from the funds raised throughout the year. This year, Patrick Burgan has chosen the Northeast Ohio Adoption Services, of which he is a board member.
