Tuesday’s with Ryz- Dream

As the nation celebrates the legacy and the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this week, we are reminded how the impact and the efforts of one individual can inspire change.  While we may think Dr. King’s efforts were on a greater scale than any one of us could possibly deliver, his actions remind us that we are not just here to be silent.  We are here to make a difference in everything we do.  We are here to help.  Everyday we have a dream of being better, doing better and providing better for ourselves and each other.  The gift of compassion and care are things we don’t need much to provide.  Someone’s dream may be a smile, growing a business or simply having someone to listen.  However, NONE of this happens without all of us working together.

Dr. King’s dream was unity.  That all of us would be together in a world that understood that when we support each other, incredible things can and do happen.  As the world remembers and celebrates Dr. King’s dream, something we are all still working to achieve, we must all realize the role our presence, our abilities and our decisions play in making the dreams of ourselves and others come true by working together with one another.  That’s when we all see something truly incredible.
