For over 100 years, GE Lighting, a division of General Electric and headquartered in East Cleveland, Ohio, has traced its origins back to Thomas Edison’s work on lighting. Recognized as a global leader in the lighting industry, GE Lighting offers professional & consumer lighting solutions that showcases imagination at work. 898 Marketing was called in to help with one of the largest product launches in the history of the company.

In 2015, GE Lighting was looking to successfully educate their retailer base on 52 new products they would be launching in 52 weeks. 898 Marketing was tasked with the strategic planning, branding, creative development and production of an educational video campaign that included the creative development and production of a branded web series featuring 52 episodes that involves interactive and educational content within the video campaign.

GE Lighting successfully launched 52 products in 52 weeks during 2015 using the GE Lighting FastTrack campaign created by 898 Marketing. 898 Marketing not only helped save costs on B2B training by increasing the reach and viewership of training materials, but also established an active online Social Media presence for this viral campaign. The work 898 Marketing did for GE Lighting gained national recognition by TedTV for innovative use of digital space, and the program will launch new episodes in 2016 that will also be rolled out internationally.
