We take the following steps to safeguard the privacy of information, both online and offline:
- Notifying customers, website visitors, and other users when we are requesting information from them, including the type of information we are requesting and the purpose for which that information will be used, and providing additional notices or consents where required by applicable law
- Maintaining accurate records and providing access to personal, identifiable, and retainable information online, subject to applicable legal exceptions, verification requirements, contractual restrictions, and the rights described below
- Using secure system technology, physical and electronic, to safeguard the information regarding our customers, including reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction
Our Privacy Policy applies to all information we receive from our customers online and in document form, and to Personal Information that we collect or process through the Services, including through websites, landing pages, online forms, emails, advertising pixels, analytics tools, client portals, service-provider platforms, events, and other interactions. We collect information from our customers or about our customers in instances when a customer initiates an online request for a demonstration, or executes contracts with 898 Marketing, requests information, subscribes to communications, attends an event, submits a form, interacts with our advertising or content, communicates with us, or otherwise uses the Services. In these situations, we collect certain information to verify our customers’ identities and to verify the customer intent for use of our product(s)/service(s). The specific information we collect from customers includes: name, address, phone number and email address, business contact information, company name, job title, billing and payment-related information, inquiry details, communication preferences, IP address, device and browser information, website usage data, advertising and analytics identifiers, cookie IDs, form submissions, call-tracking information, chat or message content, event-registration information, and any other information you choose to provide.

Additionally, we may use the information, including postal address and/or email address, to send you product information and marketing material, newsletters, thought leadership, event invitations, advertising, and other promotional communications, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. (You may opt out of receiving such information by contacting 898 Marketing and completing a written request to be removed from any such list, by using the unsubscribe link in an email where available, by using any preference center or cookie controls that we make available, or by exercising applicable rights described below.)

Where legally required, we will provide notice and a mechanism to opt out, including recognition of browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required by applicable law.
We do not intend for session-replay, analytics, call-tracking, chatbot, or similar tools to collect sensitive fields such as passwords, payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, or unredacted health information, and we use reasonable configuration settings designed to mask or suppress such fields where those tools are deployed.

We require service providers to process Personal Information in accordance with applicable contractual restrictions and to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the services they provide.
Client Data and Campaign Data
In providing marketing, advertising, web-development, analytics, hosting, consulting, or related services to clients, we may receive, access, generate, or process information relating to client customers, prospects, website visitors, or campaign audiences. We generally process that information as directed by the client and subject to applicable contracts, data processing terms, confidentiality obligations, and law. We may use automated tools, machine-learning systems, generative artificial-intelligence tools, lead-scoring tools, analytics, audience-segmentation tools, fraud-detection tools, chatbots, transcription tools, quality-assurance tools, or other AI-assisted technologies to support business operations, marketing, analytics, quality assurance, communications, security, campaign optimization, and client-service functions. We do not intend for AI-assisted tools to make legally or similarly significant decisions about individuals without appropriate human review. Outputs from AI-assisted tools may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or outdated and should not be relied on without appropriate review. We will not intentionally use connected-account data or identifiable client data to train a third-party general-purpose AI model unless permitted by applicable law, governed by appropriate contractual safeguards, or authorized by the applicable client or user.

We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site unless cookie or device data is linked, combined, or reasonably linkable to a user, device, household, or other identifier, in which case it may constitute Personal Information under applicable law.
Some of our business partners may use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies. Choices may be browser- and device-specific and may not affect non-cookie disclosures or data we process in other contexts.
Aggregate, De-Identified, and Anonymized Data
This Privacy Policy does not restrict our use or disclosure of information that has been de-identified, aggregated, anonymized, or otherwise processed so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual. We may generate, use, disclose, and retain such information for any lawful purpose, including analytics, reporting, benchmarking, campaign measurement, product development, security, AI testing, and service improvement, subject to applicable law and contractual restrictions.
Links
This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information. The Services may also integrate with third-party platforms, plug-ins, social-media pages, advertising platforms, analytics tools, payment processors, video platforms, mapping providers, chatbot providers, and other third-party services. We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties, and their practices are governed by their own policies and terms.
Children’s Privacy
Only persons age 18 or older have permission to access our Service. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your Children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from children under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers. We do not knowingly sell or share Personal Information of individuals under 16 years of age. If a promotion, campaign, or client-directed project involves minors, additional consent, notice, contractual, and legal requirements may apply, and the applicable client or program-specific terms will control to the extent they conflict with this Privacy Policy.
Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site. Additional rules, eligibility requirements, consent terms, or privacy disclosures may apply to specific surveys, sweepstakes, contests, rewards, promotions, or co-branded programs, and those additional terms will control to the extent they conflict with this Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide Services, maintain business records, comply with laws, resolve disputes, support audits, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, preserve security, maintain backups, and satisfy insurance, tax, accounting, professional, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the context of collection, contractual requirements, legal requirements, and business needs.
Security and Breach Notification
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No website, system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, or use of Personal Information that triggers a legal notice obligation, we will evaluate and provide notices required by applicable law. We may require vendors and service providers to notify us of suspected or actual security incidents involving information processed on our behalf.
California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights depending on their state of residence, the context of our relationship, our role, the type of information, and applicable exemptions. These rights may include rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of Personal Information, opt out of targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or certain profiling, appeal a denial of a request, and limit or consent to certain processing of Sensitive Personal Information. We will honor rights requests, opt-out preference signals, consent requirements, and appeal rights where required by applicable law.
For California residents, we collect the categories of Personal Information described in this Privacy Policy for the purposes described above, from the sources described above, and disclose those categories to the recipients described above. We may retain each category for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for purposes that would require a right to limit under the CCPA unless we provide notice and the required ability to limit such use or disclosure.
California “Shine the Light” law may permit California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, contact us at info@898marketing.com and include “California Shine the Light Request” in the subject line. Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is not currently a uniform industry standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals unless required by law, but we do respond to legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required by applicable law.

Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other jurisdictions apply, we will process Personal Information based on appropriate legal bases and will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers where required.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time. Please check this site often to ensure you are accessing the most current version of the policy.
